How To Make A Donation
If you want to .....
The Wigton Hospital League of Friends has functioned for several years now, only so much can be done with the Govemment funding provided, and the League of Friends works to improve the level of care and compassion with which it is provided, by raising funds to supply equipment which would not otherwise be available, and supporting the staff in whichever ways are possible.
By doing so you can help support the Wigton Community Hospital and associated Community Health Services, which are increasingly vital in meeting the needs of our community on the Solway Plain. Under current Health Service plans more of the services you expect are going to be provided, not from the District Hospitals at Carlisle and Whitehaven, but "Closer to Home" from Community Hospitals and staff working in the Community.
All donations sent by post to the Wigton Hospital League of Friends should be in the form of a cheque made payable to:
- “Wigton Hospital League of Friends”
Cash donations should only be donated in person, either to a member of the commitee or a member of staff at the hospital.
Ideally we would like to know who the donation is from so please include your name and address then we can rightly thank you for your kind and appreciated donation.
