Children in Maryport and Wigton will be able to swim this February half term without splashing out a fortune.
Allerdale council is again offering 10p entry to children throughout the school holidays at Wigton Pool and Maryport’s Netherhall Pool.
Children under the age of 16 can swim for 10p during public sessions at the community pools. The entry offer will run from Monday, February 15 until Sunday, February 21.
Normal pool rules will apply and entry may be denied if the maximum bather numbers are reached. For opening times and other details, please contact Wigton Pool on 016973 42412 or Netherhall Pool on 01900 813434.
Swimmers aged 16 and under can also swim for free at Allerdale council’s three pools in Workington, Cockermouth and Keswick. For more information contact Workington Leisure Centre and Pools on 01900 61771, Cockermouth Leisure Centre on 01900 823596 or Keswick Leisure Pool on 017687 72760.
